Hello Lovely People,

Here we are again approaching the end of a year and looking forward to a new one on the horizon. I am filled with gratitude for all that’s happened and anticipation for all to come. But, more than anything, I’m working hard to be present each day.

It’s so easy to get lost reflecting on the past or imagining the future around this time of year. I encourage you to breathe deep and notice what’s around you. Find joy in the moment you’re in. Be present with the people in front of you.

Christmas Closure Dates

Just a reminder that we are CLOSED

December 24th through January 1st

We will open again on Friday, January 2nd

Important Notice: Carpet Cleaners

PLEASE READ

Prep for and carpet cleaning in the Programs Office and the Thrift Shop takes place from December 28th through 31st.

Please, DO NOT come to the Thrift Shop on these days to work. Between furniture being moved and the carpets being cleaned, it will be very helpful to not have people in and out of the building those days.

Don’t Forget to Report Your Hours!

It’s super important (and super easy) to report your volunteer hours!

You can submit hours for each day you work, or group hours together by week or month.

Just go to the Member Area of the Uplift website and click on the red image that says, “Report Hours.” *See first two images

If you’re ever having trouble logging in, feel free to write down your hours manually and leave them in the basket next to Abby’s office. *See third image
