Hello Lovely People, It’s July, which means it’s time for another Shop Talk!

Welcome, Romulo! Everyone, please give our newest employee, Rom, a warm welcome! You can find him outside greeting customers and receiving donations. “Hi, I’m Romulo, or you can call me Rom. I’m originally from Costa Rica but over the past few years I’ve lived in Colorado and Utah. I’m really excited to be a part of this team! Happy to be here!” Barcodes If you print your own barcodes, please be mindful of which type you’re choosing. The “standard” barcodes will get stuck and leave some of the sticker behind while the “removable” ones are, well, removable. Standard: Use on a tag or a paper. Should NOT be put on items themselves. Removable: Can be placed directly on an item. *One More Note* Once you’ve printed your barcodes, please put any extra sheets back in their correct container. Do not leave them in the printer or place them on top of the printer. It gets confusing which type is which.  Let’s work together to stay more organized! Check which type of barcode you’re using and be sure to put any extras back in the right spot. Don’t leave extra barcodes on top of (or in) the printer. Put it back where it belongs. Aprons Please Leave Aprons at the Shop It’s come to my attention that some people are taking their aprons home with them (perhaps to wash them). Please do not do this. We have a limited number of aprons, and they all need to stay at the shop. If you’d like your apron washed, feel free to stick it in with the next load of laundry that’s getting done. Thanks!
